Indoor/Outdoor Flea &Tick Control
by Mike Steele

Should I use Outdoor Flea & Tick products, especially if I am already using Flea & Tick products inside my home? Using products such as Adams Lawn Spray can be helpful, especially if your pet(s) travel or play often in your yard. If you live in warmer climates, this may be a necessity, as these areas provide longer time periods in which you and your pet can come in contact with Flea’s & Ticks while enjoying the outdoors.

How often may I use outdoor flea control products?

Be sure to check the instructions on the product(s) you are using. In regards to lawn and garden sprays, generally you may treat, then retreat within 7-14 days.

Inside my home, should I use a Flea & Tick spray, or should I use a Fogger?

While both products can be used effectively, the way they work is different. Before using Adams Room Fogger, you’ll need to remove all pets from your home. Be sure to stay away for at least 2 hours prior to returning. Once you’ve returned home, it is important to wipe down any eating surfaces or other surfaces where your food or your pets food is prepared. When using a spray you can access areas that a fogger cannot reach, such as behind drapes or underneath your couch. However, it is important to remember when using a spray, you must direct the areas in which are treated, while a fogger does most of that work for you.

** When using any Flea & Tick products, such as yard sprays and foggers. Be sure to follow all Manufacturer instructions. Many products ask that you and your pets leave treated areas until the product has been effectively dispersed and dried. We highly recommend this for you and your pets health.
